Who we are

ZeponAI is a service at zeponai.com run by Marthee Pu-Senat (“we”, “us”). ZeponAI makes short videos with AI presenters, and it is for everyone. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and who we share it with.

What we collect

Your account

• Your email address.
• Your password, stored only as a scrambled scrypt hash. We can't read your password.
• When you signed up, your plan and its status, and the PayPal reference for your plan.
• Your plan-time balance and a short history of it: time added, time used by each video, and time given back. This includes an ID for each video so only you can open it.

What you put into a video

• Your script, your choice of presenter, voice and quality, and your voice recording if you upload one.
• If you use the AI writer: your idea for the video, its kind, length and language.
• Our server sends these to our providers to make the video or the script. It does not keep copies of your scripts, ideas or recordings, and it does not write them to its logs.

Payments

• PayPal takes your payment. We get back only the payment and plan references we need to add time to your account. We never see your card or bank details.

What stays on your device

Your browser keeps your drafts and projects (scripts, choices and links to finished videos) in its local storage, on your device only. They don't follow you to another device. Clearing your browser's site data deletes them. You can also delete a video or start over inside the app.

Cookies

We use one cookie, zp_session, to keep you signed in. It can't be read by scripts on the page (it is “HttpOnly”), and we store only a scrambled version of it. It lasts up to 30 days, or until you sign out. We don't use ad or tracking cookies.

Who we share data with

We share data only with the service providers that help run ZeponAI, and only what each one needs:

• Hedra makes the video. It receives the built-in presenter photo, plus your recording, or your script when you pick one of its voices (these voices are built on ElevenLabs).
• Google Gemini makes some of the voices. When you pick one of these voices, your script is sent to Google to be spoken.
• Anthropic (Claude) writes scripts when you use the AI writer. It receives your idea, the kind of video, its length and its language. If you use the free writer instead, nothing is sent.
• PayPal handles payments and plans.
• Cloudflare delivers the website. Like any web host, it handles basic technical data such as your IP address. It also forwards emails sent to support@zeponai.com.
• Google (Gmail) hosts our support inbox. When you email support@zeponai.com, your email and address are kept there so we can answer you.

Scripts and recordings are sent only to make the video you asked for. Each provider handles data under its own privacy terms. Finished videos are made and hosted by the provider; the app fetches a fresh link when you open one.

If a provider's terms would let it use your content to improve its own products, we will tell you in the app before you send it.

We may also share data if the law requires it, to protect people from harm, or if ZeponAI is sold or merged.

What we don't do

• We don't show ads.
• We don't sell your personal data.
• We don't use your scripts, recordings or videos for anything other than making your videos and running the service.

Voices and likeness

The built-in AI presenters are made-up people. Uploading someone's likeness is not available. Upload a voice recording only if it is your own voice or you have the speaker's permission.

Where your data is kept

Your account data is stored on ZeponAI's server. Our providers may process data in other countries, including the United States, under their own terms.

How long we keep it

We keep your account data while your account is open. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete your account data, except what we must keep by law (for example, payment records). Data held by a provider is kept under that provider's rules.

Your choices and rights

• See or correct your data: email us.
• Delete your account: email support@zeponai.com from the email address on the account. Cancel your PayPal plan too, so it doesn't renew.
• Delete drafts on your device: delete them in the app, or clear your browser's site data.

Depending on where you live, you may have more rights under local law. Email us and we will help.

Security

Passwords are stored as scrypt hashes, and the sign-in cookie is stored only in scrambled form. Payments stay with PayPal. No system is perfectly safe, so please use a strong password you don't use anywhere else.

Age

ZeponAI is for people 18 or older. We don't knowingly collect data from children. If you think a child has made an account, email us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. We will change the “Last updated” date and, for important changes, tell you by email or in the app.
